Main Line Health hospitals recognized by Leapfrog for patient safety, quality and transparency

Leapfrog Full Transparency Badge

Bryn Mawr, PA — Main Line Health's four acute care hospitals have earned the Leapfrog Full Transparency Badge, recognizing their commitment to openly reporting patient safety and quality information and giving patients and families greater insight into the care they receive.

Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital earned the recognition through their participation in the annual Leapfrog Hospital Survey, one of the nation’s leading voluntary reporting programs focused on patient safety, quality and transparency.

The recognition comes on the heels of another strong performance by Main Line Health in The Leapfrog Group's Spring 2026 Hospital Safety Grades. Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital and Riddle Hospital each earned an A, while Paoli Hospital earned a B.

Bryn Mawr Hospital and Riddle Hospital have earned A grades since Main Line Health began participating in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade program in 2020. Lankenau Medical Center has earned consecutive A grades since fall 2023.

"Patients and families deserve to know how their hospitals are performing when it comes to safety and quality, and we are proud to be transparent about our results," said Patricia "Patty" Harris, MBA, CPPS, LSSGB, Vice President of Safety and Quality for Main Line Health. "These recognitions reflect the high standards our teams hold themselves to every day and our commitment to continually improving the safe, high-quality care we provide across Main Line Health."

The Full Transparency Badge is awarded to hospitals that complete, affirm and submit all sections of the Leapfrog Hospital Survey. The badge appears on Leapfrog's public ratings website and identifies hospitals that have committed to openly sharing information about their safety and quality performance.

Together, the Full Transparency recognition and Spring Hospital Safety Grades reflect Main Line Health's continued focus on delivering safe, high-quality, comprehensive care for patients and the communities it serves, close to home.
