Main Line Health hospitals named to Healthgrades’ America’s Best Hospitals
Across Main Line Health, the work happening every day to deliver safe, high-quality care is making a real impact for the patients and communities we serve. That commitment is reflected in new national recognition, with all four of our acute care hospitals named among Healthgrades' America's Best Hospitals for 2026.
Lankenau Medical Center and Riddle Hospital have been named to Healthgrades' America's 50 Best Hospitals list placing both facilities among the top 1% of U.S. hospitals for clinical excellence. Lankenau Medical Center and Riddle Hospital have been recognized as 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades for three years in a row.
Paoli Hospital and Bryn Mawr Hospital were name to Healthgrades' America's 250 Best Hospitals list, reaching the top 5% of hospitals recognized for clinical quality.
Each year, Healthgrades evaluates nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide across more than 30 common conditions and procedures. Hospitals that demonstrate superior clinical outcomes earn placement on the annual best hospitals lists. To receive a top 250 designation, hospitals are evaluated based on risk-adjusted mortality and complication outcomes with each hospital receiving an overall performance score. Based on this overall score, the top 5% receive a 250 best hospital distinction.
Hospitals that earn a top 50 ranking from Healthgrades have statistically better outcomes in key clinical areas, including lower rates of mortality and serious complications, based solely on outcomes data.
Being recognized on this list places Lankenau Medical Center and Riddle Hospital in the top 1% of all U.S. hospitals, an honor that fewer than 50 hospitals nationwide achieve each year. For patients and families, this recognition provides an independent marker of trust and performance when choosing care.
These recognitions reflect sustained, high-quality care and strong clinical outcomes. Being named among America's 250 and 50 Best Hospitals' list underscores the deep commitment to safe, high-quality and results-driven care the teams at each acute care facility deliver every day.
