Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital, and Riddle Hospital acknowledged by Leapfrog for achieving national excellence standards.

Bryn Mawr, PA — Main Line Health's four acute care hospitals continued their run of excellence in patient safety, receiving a Hospital Safety Grade of A from The Leapfrog Group, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing hospital data on safety and quality.

Leapfrog assigns an A, B, C, D or F to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections as well as the systems that hospitals have in place to prevent them. Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital string of excellence continued by achieving the highest grade. Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital have each received an A in each semi-annual Leapfrog report since the fall of 2020.

“We are squarely focused on delivering safe, high-quality and equitable care,” said Jack Lynch, FACHE, President and CEO of Main Line Health. “I’m proud that we not only continue to meet the highest safety standards but continually strive to improve on our performance. Our patients have every right to expect that from us. This recognition is a reflection of the incredible work and perseverance of our entire team.”

Main Line Health participates in Leapfrog’s program by sharing information directly with the review team to highlight hospital safety protocols.
