I consider myself to be an expert in mobility. I believe that maintaining an extremely active and mobile lifestyle gives me an enormous amount of insight on helping others stay on their feet. I have been a competitive distance runner since 9th grade. Some of my proudest running accomplishments include running the marathon (26.2 miles) in 2:36:44 and the Broad Street 10-mile run in 55 minutes. I have also competed in mountain bike races, duathalons, adventure races, and ultra marathons, and I am an avid backcountry skier. I try to pass what I have learned from my active and mobile lifestyle onto my patients. For example, logging well over 30,000 miles of running throughout the years has provided me a lot of personal experience with overuse injury. These experiences give me a tremendous amount of insight in treating these disorders. It is my goal as a practitioner to give my patients the highest degree of mobility possible. Whether their goal is just being able to stand on two feet and walk without pain or completing an ultra- marathon I believe I can help people with all levels of foot and ankle disorders.
