Getting well doesn’t just happen from a hospital bed or inside a gym. Sometimes, letting patients get back to nature is the key to physical and psychological recovery.
Lymphedema is a condition of fluid stagnation and tissue swelling that often shows up in the arms, legs, torso, head or neck. It occurs when there has been direct damage to the lymphatic system—which helps rid the body of toxins and fluids—or an obstruction of normal lymphatic flow.
