I enjoy evaluating patients using a biopsychosocial perspective, providing initial assessment and ongoing follow up of medical, psychological and social factors and reviewing the risks and benefits of medication and overall treatment in coordination with our experienced psychotherapists. The Women's Emotional Wellness Center is a comprehensive treatment setting that aims to return each person to their most functional, healthy self.

Linda A. Ryan, MD

Linda A. Ryan, MD, medical director of the Women's Emotional Wellness Center, has spent her career evaluating and treating patients with psychiatric symptoms in the medical setting. Dr. Ryan is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and certified in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry. Completing her undergraduate degree from Davidson College, medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, and residency at the University of Utah, she has held faculty positions at Dartmouth Medical School and the University of Rochester. Dr. Ryan worked at Bryn Mawr Hospital as a consultation liaison psychiatrist 2006 through 2014 and has served as the medical director of the Women's Emotional wellness Center since 2013.
