Campus Chief, Riddle Hospital Physician Employment Opportunities

Position overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our esteemed institution as the Campus Chief for Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at Riddle Hospital. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably including a leadership or committee role and will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the OB/GYN department at our campus, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and promoting a collaborative and innovative environment.


Leadership and administration

  • Provide operational leadership for the OB/GYN department, overseeing day-to-day operations and administrative functions
  • Collaborate with departmental heads and hospital administration to align department goals with the overall mission of the institution
  • Advising the Department Chairman, Campus Medical Staff President and Campus VPMA on matters related to patient care, physicians’ performance
  • Assessing and resolving, or facilitating resolution of, problems which may arise in his/her Campus Department
  • Acting on behalf of the Department Chairman in his/her absence
  • Informing the Campus VPMA and Department Chairman of all significant issues/events arising within the Campus Department
  • Assisting the Department Chairman in developing, implementing, and maintaining system-wide policies pertaining to the Department and its subspecialties
  • Devotes 16 (sixteen) hours per month for leadership and administration responsibilities

Clinical responsibilities

  • Provide care for obstetrics and gynecological patients including prenatal care, labor and delivery, post-partum and general gynecological care

Collaboration and communication

  • Establish effective communication channels with interdisciplinary teams, promoting collaboration and teamwork
  • Act as a liaison between the OB/GYN department and other health care stakeholders, fostering positive relationships

Quality improvement

  • Implement and oversee quality improvement initiatives within the department to ensure the highest standards of care
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, working towards continuous improvement and patient satisfaction


  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Proven leadership experience in a health care setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient care, and continuous improvement
