Jim Paradis appointed President of Riddle Hospital

Jim Paradis has been selected to lead Riddle Hospital as its next President. Over the more than two decades Paradis has been with Main Line Health, he has held a number of progressive leadership roles and brings proven expertise and a strong commitment to our patients and the communities we serve.

Over the last year, Paradis has served as Main Line Health’s first Chief Transformation Officer, leading the Transformation Management Office and playing a pivotal role in advancing the System’s Transformation 2035 initiative. As CTO, he helped strengthen structures and processes to ensure a sustainable operating model, while also driving growth and fostering collaboration and innovation across Main Line Health.

“I am honored to return to Riddle Hospital and to serve as its next President. I look forward to working alongside our talented colleagues, physicians and community partners to advance clinical excellence and expand access to high-quality care close to home,” Paradis said.

Prior to becoming CTO, Paradis served as President of Paoli Hospital for 12 years. Throughout his years with Main Line Health, he has also held key leadership roles as Vice President of Administration at both Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital, as well as Vice President of Operations at Bryn Mawr Hospital. This broad experience across multiple Main Line Health campuses has strengthened Paradis’ leadership skills and given him a true System perspective.

Paradis will build on the strong foundation established by Shelly Buck, DNP, RN, who has led Riddle Hospital with distinction over the past six years and will become the next President of Ambulatory and Professional Services. Under her leadership, Riddle Hospital has continued to advance clinical excellence and strengthen its ties to the community.

Paradis’ history with the hospital, combined with his leadership across Main Line Health, make him uniquely positioned to continue this progress and guide Riddle Hospital into its next chapter.

At its core are four of the region's most respected acute care hospitals — Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Paoli Hospital and Riddle Hospital — as well as one of the nation's premier facilities for rehabilitative medicine, Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital. Main Line Health also includes Mirmont Treatment Center for drug and alcohol recovery; Main Line Health HomeCare & Hospice, providing skilled home healthcare, hospice and home infusion services; Main Line Health Centers, primary and specialty care, lab and radiology and other outpatient services located in Broomall, Collegeville, Concordville, Exton, King of Prussia and Newtown Square; and Lankenau Institute for Medical Research, a biomedical research organization.

Main Line Health's medical staff benefits from a collaborative relationship including independent physicians, community healthcare professionals and hospital-based experts from Main Line HealthCare, the employed multi-specialty physician network of Main Line Health.

Main Line Health collaborates with top experts to deliver exceptional specialty care. Through our affiliation with the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, doctors and advanced practice providers care for pediatric patients at select Main Line Health locations, including the neonatal intensive care units at Main Line Health's four acute care hospitals, as well as Bryn Mawr Hospital's Inpatient Pediatric Unit and Emergency Department. Jefferson Health neurosurgeons and neurointerventionalists provide 24/7 specialized care, including neurointervention and lifesaving stroke care, and trauma surgeons provide critical care to our patients. Through our affiliation with Sheppard Pratt — a nonprofit provider of mental health services, substance use, developmental disability and other comprehensive behavioral health support — patients receive compassionate care in a welcoming environment.
