Brittni Jones, DO
Dr. Brittni Delores Jones is an experienced psychiatrist and medical director with a career spanning academic, administrative, and clinical roles. Dr. Jones is currently the Program Director of the Psychiatry Residency Program at Main Line Health, Hospital Lead of Psychiatry at Mainline Health Bryn Mawr Hospital and Medical Director of the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit. Previously, Dr. Jones was the Department Vice Chairperson of Behavioral Health at Crozer Health, and Department Chairperson of Behavioral Health at Christiana Care Union Hospital. At Christiana Care Union Hospital, Dr. Jones developed an initiative involving monthly meetings with community leaders and hospital staff to address high-utilizer patients and improve outcomes. Her clinical expertise covers a wide range of psychiatric services, from inpatient and outpatient care to consultation psychiatry, substance abuse treatment, and involuntary commitments. In her leadership roles, she has been responsible for overseeing psychiatric evaluations, managing unit operations, updating hospital policies, and supervising students and other behavioral health providers.
Dr. Jones also has a strong background in public health and research, which predates her medical career. Before becoming a physician, she worked for the Florida Department of Health as the State Influenza Coordinator, where she managed data reporting, supervised staff, and assisted in building the state's electronic disease reporting system. She also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Florida A&M University, where she conducted research on cellular and molecular biology and taught undergraduate biology courses. Dr. Jones holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Florida A&M University, and has participated in numerous awards, publications, and presentations throughout her career.

Juan Jose Gan, MD
Juan Jose Gan, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive administrative and clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Gan is the former Chair in the Department of Psychiatry at Crozer Health, a position he has held since 2022. He was the Program Director for the Crozer Health Psychiatry Residency from 2021 to 2022. His other leadership roles have included Medical Director positions at Lower Merion Counseling Services and Onward Behavioral Health. Throughout his career, Dr. Gan has provided a wide range of psychiatric services, from crisis evaluations to medication management, and has worked in various environments, including telepsychiatry and within the Philadelphia Prison System.
In addition to his clinical and administrative work, Dr. Gan has a strong background in teaching and scholarly activities. He is an Adjunct Faculty member at Drexel University College of Medicine and Philadelphia College of Medicine. His scholarly contributions include involvement in Crozer Health's Medical Executive and Ethics Committees, peer-reviewed abstracts, and presentations on topics like aggression management and physician burnout. Dr. Gan received his M.D. from Saint George’s School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Richard Hempel, MD, MA
Richard Hempel, MD, MA is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in leadership and clinical practice within academic medical settings. He currently serves as the System Vice Chair of Psychiatry at Main Line Health, where he specializes in the outpatient treatment of mental and behavioral health conditions for adults sixteen and older. Dr. Hempel is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, policy development, and strategic planning of the hospital's expanding ambulatory psychiatry practice, which serves patients across the lifespan. His clinical expertise includes adult ADHD, treatment-resistant depression and anxiety, OCD, trauma-related disorders, and neuromodulation therapies like ECT and TMS. Prior to his role at Main Line Health, he was the Division Chief of Ambulatory Psychiatry at Cooper University Health Care from 2022 to 2024. During his time at Cooper, he led the integration of four geographically separate practices into a cohesive unit and established best practices for the new division. His work also involved the recruitment of attending psychiatrists, residents, and key support staff, as well as the development of a dedicated Adult ADHD Evaluation and Treatment Service. In addition, he was responsible for clinical oversight, directly supervising staff, and developed a clinical Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) program in Camden. He also completed the Cooper Physician Leadership Development Program, in partnership with the American Academy of Physician Leadership, from 2023 to 2024.
Dr. Hempel's professional background also includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine and holding a Chief Resident position during his residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Medical University in Syracuse and holds a master's in psychology from NYU. His career demonstrates a strong focus on patient-centered care, fostering therapeutic relationships built on trust, and promoting innovation in mental health services.
