Paul Gittens, MD, FACS, is a board certified urologist with a specialty fellowship in sexual medicine, male infertility and microsurgery. His practice is the regions only center that focuses on sexual medicine for men and women and male infertility. Dr. Gittens is a previous assistant professor of urology and obstetrics and gynecology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York City. At that time he was also the director of Sexual Dysfunction, Andrology and Male Infertility.
Dr. Gittens treats women with complaints of low libido, problems with arousal and orgasm, vaginal dryness, and pain with intercourse. He also focuses on menopause and hormonal therapy for women. Dr. Gittens offers a sexual health after cancer program and sexual health after breast cancer for women who are on hormonal therapy, or who have had chemotherapy.
Dr. Gittens also treats men for a host of sexual complaints such has premature ejaculation, low testosterone, and orgasmic dysfunction. He provides advanced treatments for erectile dysfunction and he also performs the penile implant. Dr. Gittens is a leading expert in treating testicular and groin pain. He is one of the few fellowship trained physicians in male infertility in the region. For men with fertility difficulties he offers a number of options such has optimal hormonal therapy, the microscopic varicocele, vasectomy reversal, microscopic testicular extraction and a number of sperm extraction methods.
Dr. Gittens is a member of American Urological Society, Sexual Medicine Society of North America and he is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is an overseas volunteer for medical missions and a well-known lecturer. He is currently an assistant clinical professor of urology and obstetrics and gynecology at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
