Marianne Hom-Tedla, MD, FACOG

Dr. Hom-Tedla specializes in personalized care of women with cancers and precancerous conditions of the female reproductive tract. She is a member of the multidisciplinary gynecologic cancer team at Main Line Health. Because gynecologic cancers can be complex, they can require the expertise of many specialists. Dr. Hom-Tedla serves as the leader of the care team and is involved in all phases and aspects of a patient’s care. She performs all surgery needed to diagnose, stage, and treat a woman’s condition. She also plans and directs other therapies that may be needed and administers medical therapies. As a gynecologic oncologist, Dr. Hom-Tedla is skilled in performing all types of surgery to remove gynecologic cancers. She also has experience using advanced medical therapies for gynecologic cancer, including targeted therapy, immunotherapy, and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). Dr. Hom-Tedla has a special interest in the use of targeted therapies, including medications that are being tested in clinical trials. She also is dedicated to integrating palliative approaches into all phases of gynecologic cancer care.
