Jharna Patel, MD
Dr. Patel is a gynecologic oncologist and member of the multidisciplinary gynecologic cancer care team at Main Line Health. She specializes in personalized care of women with cancers and precancerous conditions of the female reproductive tract. Dr. Patel diagnoses and treats all types of gynecologic cancer, and she performs all types of surgery needed to diagnose and treat these conditions, individualizing surgical treatment to achieve the best outcome for each patient. She also plans and directs other therapies that may be needed, including chemotherapy, other cancer medications and radiation therapy. Dr. Patel has a special interest in the care of women with cervical cancer and the role that immunotherapy may play in their treatment.
