About
Deborah A. Gondek, DO
Dr. Gondek grew up in Lower Merion, attended Villanova University and completed medical school and then residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She began her career as a private practice internist in South Jersey and then transitioned to hospital medicine at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in NJ and in Phoenix, Arizona. In 2007 she returned to Main Line Health as a hospitalist at Bryn Mawr Hospital. In 2012, Deb became the campus lead of hospital medicine at Bryn Mawr. She has worked closely in partnership in perioperative medicine with orthopedics and bariatric surgery as well as improving the patient experience for hospitalist patients at Bryn Mawr. In 2022, Dr. Gondek was named the Vice President of Medical Affairs for Bryn Mawr Hospital and still works as a hospitalist on the Bryn Mawr Hospital team.
