Rosangely Cruz-Rojas, DrPH

Vice President and Chief Diversity & Equity Officer

Dr. Rosangely Cruz-Rojas serves as Vice President and Chief Diversity & Equity Officer for Main Line Health. Dr. Cruz-Rojas, a champion of health equity and addressing disparities of care, joined the System in 2007.

As Chief Diversity & Equity Officer for Main Line Health, Dr. Cruz-Rojas leads a comprehensive equity strategy spanning culturally responsive education, employee engagement, inclusive policy development, clinical equity initiatives, and community health outreach. She oversees System wide programs including Employee Resource Groups, health equity initiatives, Community Health Workers, and community health efforts and needs assessments, while coordinating compliance for bias and discrimination allegations. Her leadership drives transformative collaborations — internally and externally — to advance equitable care, strengthen belonging, achieve community health and improve outcomes for underserved and vulnerable communities.

Prior to this role, she served as System Director for Performance Measurement, Improvement — Analytics under the broader department of Quality, Safety and Equity.

Dr. Cruz-Rojas earned her doctorate from the Sociomedical Science program at Columbia University, School of Public Health and a Master of Public Health in Biostatistics and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Puerto Rico.

She completed a five-year pre-doctoral program in Psychiatric Epidemiology and was awarded the Eugene Litwak Prize in Sociomedical Sciences for excellence in preparation of a dissertation research proposal in 2007. In 2012, she was awarded the Social Inequalities Research Award for excellence in doctoral research from the Center for the Study of Social Inequalities and Health at Columbia University.
