The staff at Bryn Mawr Hospital's emergency department—located just outside of Philadelphia—knows that little ones need extra special care. Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) pediatricians and pediatric advance practice providers provide pediatric services in the Bryn Mawr Hospital Emergency Department. CHOP specialists are available to collaborate with the Pediatricians to provide the best care. In addition, our nurses have been recognized with Magnet status, a credential only give to hospitals whose nursing staff has demonstrated excellence in a wide array of criteria based on providing the best possible patient care.
When your child needs to go to the Emergency Department, you want to know they'll receive outstanding, timely care delivered by a skilled clinical team. At the Bryn Mawr Emergency Department, a CHOP pediatric hospitalist is located specifically in the Emergency Department every day during the hours when children visit most frequently.
Additionally, CHOP pediatricians are on-site at the hospital 24/7 to consult on any emergency cases involving infants, children and adolescents. CHOP pediatric hospitalists, who are board certified and specialize in caring for patients in the hospital work closely with the MLH team to provide care and consultation for children of all ages.
