Will my insurance cover the program?
Coverage varies depending on your plan. For most participants, insurance covers the visit with the medical director (VLCD only) and lab tests prior to enrolling, and then monthly during the Reducing Phase. The cost of food replacement products, weekly classes and weekly check-in with our clinicians is paid for by the participant. This is a flat fee ranging from $65 to $120 a week.
How much do the food replacement products cost?
Your weekly costs will depend on which diet you are following—the Very Low Calorie Diet (VLCD) or the Low Calorie Diet (LCD)—and your weight loss goals. As you finish the Reducing Phase, your costs will decrease as you introduce more grocery foods into your diet and rely less on our products. See a fee schedule with weekly cost ranges.
How and when do I pay?
Payment for food replacement products and meeting fees are due each week, and are payable with cash, check or major credit card.
