Membership is nonexclusive. Participating in our clinically integrated network (CIN) will not preclude your practice from participating in other value-based partnerships nor will it affect the fee-for-service unit price reimbursement of any existing agreements your practice may have with insurance payers.
Membership is free. Your practice does not have to pay any equity contribution or fees to join.
Membership allows for shared leadership at the practice level (tax ID number). Independent and employed physicians comprise the majority of governing and standing committees, and participate in a virtual group practice aligned with MLH. Membership is rewarding. Participating physicians receive access to patients through narrow networks as well as potential opportunities to earn shared savings in MLHPP-sponsored projects and performance-based payer contracts.
Main Line Health Physician Partners is a partner and works in close collaboration with the Delaware Valley Accountable Care Organization (DVACO), an organization founded and co-owned by Main Line Health and its high quality partner, Jefferson Health. DVACO is one of the largest accountable care organizations in the United States and is among the highest performing for delivering quality care.

Participation in value-based contracts
With our broad reach and access to governmental, hospital-based and other payer programs, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in value-based and pay-for-performance contracts and benefit from potential shared savings. In addition, participation in the Medicare Shared Savings Program grants certain MIPS (merit-based incentive payment system) exemptions and auto-reporting benefits to practices. MIPS adjusts the Medicare physician fee schedule according to performance in four categories: quality, resource utilization, advancing care information, and clinical practice improvement activities. All physicians are subject to this upward/downward payment adjustment starting in 2019, although reporting requirements began in January 2017.
To best serve your at-risk patients we provide access to care coordination resources such as nurse navigators and social workers. If your practice already provides in-house care coordination, we complement your efforts with educational support and resources.
To help your practice improve workflow and other processes, we provide data-aggregated reports that can help with decision making and ultimately enhance your ability to be successful in shared savings arrangements.
In partnership with physicians, staff, and office managers, we provide analysis and guidance around workflows and processes, to help your practice be more efficient and achieve value-based care delivery congruent with recognized national quality programs, such as patient-centered medical home (PCMH).
