Shelly Buck named President of Ambulatory and Professional Services

Main Line Health is pleased to announce that Shelly Buck, DNP, MBA, President of Riddle Hospital, has been promoted to President of Ambulatory and Professional Services. With Main Line HealthCare and Ambulatory being key growth and focus areas for the System, Buck is the right leader to guide this important work forward.
In her more than two decades of leadership, Buck has prioritized patient safety and quality care, driving improvements through strengthened clinical operations. As President of Ambulatory and Professional Services, Buck will lead the continued growth and integration of our ambulatory, emergency medical services and professional services, ensuring these areas remain a strong foundation for Main Line Health's future.
"I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Main Line Health in this new capacity. Throughout my time at Riddle Hospital, I have been inspired by the dedication of our colleagues and medical staff who make a lasting difference for our patients and community every day. I look forward to building on that foundation as we expand access to high-quality, comprehensive care close to home," Buck said.
Buck's leadership has been marked by strength and resilience, most notably during the closure of Crozer Health. Through her steadfast leadership, Buck guided Riddle Hospital through the challenge with focus and compassion while also ensuring patients and the Delaware County community impacted by the closure had uninterrupted access to high-quality and equitable care. Buck also played a pivotal role in the successful opening of the Riddle Hospital Pavilion in 2023, a state-of-the-art facility that expands access to advanced care and enhances the patient and family experience.
This transition plan allows for a smooth handoff and knowledge transfer with the upcoming retirement of Donna Phillips, marking the close of a remarkable career spanning more than three decades at Main Line Health. Over her career, Phillips has served in key leadership roles, including President of Bryn Mawr Rehab Hospital and played a pivotal role in leading the Systemwide implementation of Epic. As the President of Ambulatory, Post Acute and Professional Services, she has been the driving force behind one of Main Line Health's most significant strategies: building and advancing a robust ambulatory and outpatient ecosystem.
