Paoli Hospital earns re-accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers by the American College of Surgeons
Paoli, PA — The National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons (ACS), recently granted re-accredited status to Paoli Hospital’s Holloway Breast Health Center, part of Main Line Health’s comprehensive breast cancer program. The Comprehensive Breast Center at Lankenau Medical Center and the Barbara Brodsky Comprehensive Breast Center at Bryn Mawr Hospital are also NAPBC- accredited breast cancer programs offered at Main Line Health. To achieve voluntary NAPBC accreditation, a breast center demonstrates compliance with the NAPBC standards that address a center’s leadership, clinical services, research, community outreach, professional education, and quality improvement for patients. Breast centers seeking NAPBC accreditation undergo a site visit every three years.
