Steven A. Rothman, MD
Dr. Steven A. Rothman is a highly experienced cardiac electrophysiologist at Lankenau Medical Center and a core member of the Lankenau Heart Group within Main Line Health. He currently serves as Medical Director of Cardiovascular Disease at Main Line Health Care and has held prominent leadership roles throughout his career, including prior service as Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology at Temple University.
Dr. Rothman received his medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland, followed by fellowships in cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology at Temple University Hospital. His clinical expertise spans a wide range of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and conduction disorders, as well as advanced therapies such as catheter ablation, pacemaker and implantable defibrillator implantation, and comprehensive arrhythmia management.
A recognized leader in the field, Dr. Rothman has been a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials focused on pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatments of cardiac arrhythmias, contributing to advancements in electrophysiology practice. He is an active member of major professional societies, including the American College of Cardiology, Heart Rhythm Society, and American Heart Association.
