Dr. Douglas B. Esberg is the Associate Program Director of the Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at Lankenau Medical Center. He is a board-certified cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist with long-standing experience at Lankenau Medical Center. He completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and joined the Lankenau staff in 2001.

His clinical practice includes the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, with expertise in both procedural and longitudinal management of rhythm disorders. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Esberg has participated in numerous clinical trials and has contributed to the academic and teaching mission of the electrophysiology program. His experience provides fellows with exposure to mature clinical judgment, procedural decision-making, and the long-term management of patients with complex rhythm disease.
