Interventional Cardiology
Board certified since 2023
My goal is to improve the health of my patients by providing the most comprehensive and compassionate cardiovascular care possible. I take pride in spending the necessary time with my patients and their families to explain their medical condition and make sure they have the knowledge to be advocates for their own well-being. Good communication, a trustworthy patient-physician relationship, and the most up-to-date care are what my patients can expect from me.

Dr. Suthar is both a cardiologist and a cardiac specialist with advanced training and skills in the use of minimally invasive procedures to diagnose and treat disorders of the heart and blood vessels. As such, he has expertise in all aspects of the nonsurgical care of patients with heart and vascular (artery and vein) disease, including use of catheter-based (minimally invasive) procedures to open blocked or narrowed arteries that supply blood to the heart, other vital organs, legs, and arms. A major focus of Dr. Suthar’s practice is treatment of peripheral circulatory disorders, such as arm or leg pain from poor blood flow, nonhealing wounds, and urgent conditions involving blot clots that have traveled to the lungs or other part of the body. Dr. Suthar also uses catheter-based procedures to treat patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defect (ASD)—two types of structural defects in the heart. Dr. Suthar sees patients in Springfield and performs procedures at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Riddle Hospital.
