Dr. Siepser is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgery (FACS). He is on the governing board and an active staff member of Wills Eye Hospital's Surgery Center of Plymouth Meeting. He obtained his medical degree from State University of New York and Cum Laude from the University of Louvain, Belgium. He did his residency in Pediatrics at Albany Medical Center, and his ophthalmology residency at Temple University and an Intraocular Lens Preceptorship under the guidance of Oram R. Kline, Jr., M.D, Director of the Cataract Service at Wills Eye Hospital.

Dr. Steven B. Siepser has over 30 years of experience as a cutting-edge anterior segment refractive surgeon, known nationally and internationally for developing innovative surgical techniques. A pioneer on a number of fronts, Dr. Siepser has served as a prime investigator for many lasers, diagnostic devices and lenses now used for vision correction and various eye surgeries. He manages complex ocular surgery, re-operations, iris reconstruction, pupilloplasties, cataract, glaucoma, no glasses surgery, sutureless corneal transplants, LASIK, PRK, LASIK, epi-lasik, laser vision correction, no drop laser glaucoma treatments, Micro incisional Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS), unusual congenital and traumatic ocular anomalies. As a senior ophthalmic surgeon, he combines a lifetime of surgical repertoire with the very latest technology. Alongside younger colleagues, Dr. Siepser stays abreast of subtle additions to surgical technique while maintaining a wide breadth of experience in complication management rarely seen in today’s safer and more effective surgical environment. He teaches his techniques at national and is often a keynote speaker at regional meetings.
