Michael J. Karon, DO, BSKIN
Dr. Michael Karon is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Main Line Institute of Plastic Surgery. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at Lankenau Medical Center, where he received the Gilson Colby Engel Award for Intern of the Year and served as Administrative Chief Resident. He then completed fellowship training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Reading Hospital–Tower Health with additional experience at Lehigh Valley Health Network, and Penn Lancaster General Hospital. Dr. Karon serves on the faculty of the Lankenau General Surgery Residency Program. His clinical interests include facial aesthetics, breast surgery, body contouring, and complex reconstructive procedures. His approach to patient care is holistic, focusing on understanding each patient’s individual goals and integrating them seamlessly into their life, so outcomes not only enhance appearance but also support overall well-being.
