For over 20 years, Kerry applied her Exercise and Sports Science education, from the University of Utah, in a variety of roles within the Health and Wellness industry. In 2013, Kerry decided to take her experience and skill in empowering, motivating, educating and inspiring others in a new direction. Her vision for an overall healthy life was renewed and refocused on those in addiction treatment. Kerry earned her Bachelor of Art in Counseling with a focus in Addiction and a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling from Grand Canyon University. In addition, she has earned credential from the Pennsylvania Certification Board as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Kerry is a professional member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) and the NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals. Focused on helping those she works with find hope and healing through their own sense of self, Kerry believes in a person-centered approach using therapies such as CBT, DBT, and MI in combination with holistic interventions that bring into focus the need to treat the whole person.
