Jocelyn L. Craparo, MD

Jocelyn L. Craparo has been an active member of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Bryn Mawr Hospital since 1989. She served as chairman of the department from 2005-2010 and was a member of The Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation Board for 10 years. Dr. Craparo was born in the Dominican Republic and graduated from medical school there in 1983. She subsequently completed her residency training at Jersey Shore Medical Center, followed by a year of specialty training in high risk obstetrics at Robert Wood Johnson/ UMDNJ. As the founding member of Bryn Mawr Women's Health Associates Dr. Craparo has provided a wide range of services in her field over the years, from adolescent gynecology to menopause, and beyond. Dr. Craparo continues to enjoy an active role in Obstetrics and Gynecology, seeing patients in three offices, performing surgery and participating in a busy delivery service. She believes that providing continuity of care and education over a woman's lifespan is at the heart of her specialty.
