Jackie earned her bachelor's in science degree in Biology from Villanova University in 1988. Following graduation, she worked in scientific research and the environmental consulting field, and earned her 200-hour yoga teacher training and subsequently taught yoga at the local YMCA for eight years. Then she returned to school and earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University in 2016. She both interned and worked in the field of addiction counseling at Mirmont Treatment Center until 2018 when she became a program therapist working with both adolescents and adults in the mental health and substance use disorder programs at Mirmont Outpatient Exton. Jackie earned her LPC in July 2020. In her counseling, Jackie utilizes a client-centered solution-focused approach incorporating CBT, DBT, and other mindfulness-based modalities including yoga and meditation. Jackie has special interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ population and with dual diagnosis clients struggling with both mental health and addiction.
