Gwyneth McNeill, DO
I am a cardiovascular medicine physician at Lankenau Heart Institute. I specialize in all aspects of heart health for adults. I also have expertise in several advanced types of imaging used to evaluate, diagnose, and manage heart and vascular disease. As a noninvasive cardiologist, I diagnose and treat most diseases and conditions that can affect the heart and blood vessels. Equally important, I focus on preventing these conditions from developing by helping patients identify and manage their unique risk factors.I have a special interest in heart disease in women, particularly heart health before, during, and after pregnancy. I focus on getting women with underlying cardiovascular disease successfully through pregnancy and delivery. I also assist in identifying unique risk factors for future cardiovascular disease for women who have complications of pregnancy, such as preeclampsia, gestational hypertension, or peripartum cardiomyopathy.I also have an interest in evaluation and management of disorders of the heart valves. I grew up in the Philadelphia region and am excited to practice in an area I call home. In 2015, I graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my internal medicine residency and fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Lankenau Medical Center. I served as chief fellow my final year of my cardiovascular disease training. My fellowship experience was very comprehensive and provided the opportunity for mentorship in the field of women's heart health as well as advanced training in cardiovascular imaging and care of patients with valvular heart disease.
