Gabrielle Kennedy, MS

Gabrielle Kennedy graduated with her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certification in trauma-informed care from Lock Haven University. She completed her internship at Mirmont where she grew her passion for helping individuals struggling with substance use disorders. Her counseling style is client-centered and incorporates different approaches based on clients' needs. This can include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and motivational interviewing. Gabrielle seeks to make each individual feel supported, heard and safe while providing tools to aid them in their healing journey. In her free time, she enjoys being with her animals, reading thriller novels and playing video games. Gabrielle has an interest in researching therapeutic gaming with varying age groups. She is often seeking additional trainings and information on creative interventions to add to her counseling toolkit.
