Accepting new patients
Headshot of Agathoklis Konstantinidis, MD, FACS

As a physician and surgeon, I believe in the simple rule of treating patients the way that I would want to be treated. For this reason, my focus is always the patient. It is important that patients know they have 100% of my focus at every point in their journey and that I will help them overcome the health challenges they face. Along the way, I want to know what is important to them, so we make sure that we meet or exceed their expectations.

Provider Bio

Agathoklis Konstantinidis, MD, FACS

Dr. Konstantinidis is a general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive abdominal surgery. He also has advanced training and expertise in the surgical treatment of disorders of the thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal glands, which are three major organs in the body’s endocrine (hormone-regulating) system. As a general surgeon, Dr. Konstantinidis treats a range of abdominal conditions that may require surgical treatment. These include all types of hernias, gallstones and other gallbladder disorders, appendicitis, diverticulitis, colon cancer, bowel obstruction, abdominal adhesions (bands of scar-like tissue that form inside the abdomen), and other disorders involving the abdomen. Dr. Konstantinidis performs more than 90% of general surgery procedures using a minimally invasive (laparoscopic or robotic) approach. For thyroid disorders, Dr. Konstantinidis performs ultrasound-guided fine-needle biopsy of thyroid nodules to determine whether they need further treatment, and he performs surgery to remove the thyroid gland to treat thyroid cancer or other thyroid conditions that have not responded to other treatment. He also is highly experienced in performing minimally invasive surgical removal of diseased parathyroid and adrenal glands.
