Menopause and you: hypertension

One in every three adults, 70 million Americans, have hypertension. 35 percent of women between the ages of 45 and 54 are affected; this percentage increases with each decade reaching 78 percent in women ages 75 and older. Dr. Stephanie Deloach, addresses the risk factors for hypertension and the importance of screening. She provides tips on risk reduction and describes typical treatment regimens.
