Yonathan Kebede, MHA, FACHE

President, Paoli Hospital

Yonathan Kebede serves as President of Paoli Hospital. Yonathan, a healthcare leader with a profound commitment to improving health outcomes and community welfare, joined the System in 2021.

As President of Paoli Hospital, Yonathan provides strategic and operational leadership, partnering closely with the hospital’s senior leadership team, medical staff, the Paoli Hospital Foundation Board and executive colleagues across Main Line Health. Together, they advance initiatives that strengthen performance, enhance patient care and ensure alignment with Main Line Health’s mission, vision, values and strategic priorities.

Prior to his promotion to lead Paoli Hospital, Yonathan served as Vice President of Operations at Lankenau Medical Center. During this time, Yonathan successfully led the Systemwide infusion realignment strategy and expanded Lankenau's 340B status.

Yonathan has managed several key initiatives to support strategic growth across Main Line Health, including the development of the Gastroenterology service line that incorporated the first employed group for general GI practice.

Before coming to Main Line Health, Yonathan held leadership roles at Premier Health in Dayton, Ohio.

Yonathan holds a master’s degree in Health Administration from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences Management from The Ohio State University. He maintains active memberships in the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association for Health Services Executives and has held leadership roles within both organizations.
