Anna Michelle Brandt, MSHA, MBA, serves as President of Lankenau Medical Center. Anna Michelle, an experienced healthcare executive with more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience across large, multifaceted health systems, joined the System in 2026.

As President of Lankenau Medical Center, Anna Michelle provides executive leadership for the hospital’s clinical, academic and operational priorities. She works closely with physician, clinician and non-clinical leaders to advance high-quality patient care, support education and research, and ensure the hospital remains well-positioned to meet the needs of the communities it serves.

Before joining Lankenau Medical Center, Anna Michelle was Chief Operating Officer for University Hospital, a 519-bed academic medical center in Newark, New Jersey. She served as executive leader for all clinical and support operations, ensuring integration across inpatient, ambulatory and pre-hospital services. Her leadership advanced major capital and modernization initiatives, strengthened quality and safety outcomes, and supported operational stability and workforce engagement.

Before joining University Hospital, Anna Michelle spent nearly two decades at UF Health Shands Hospital, where she advanced through a series of progressively senior leadership roles. Beginning her career as an administrative resident, she went on to serve in multiple operational leadership positions, ultimately becoming Vice President and Hospital Chief of Staff. Throughout her tenure, she partnered closely with physician and academic leaders to support complex, high-acuity clinical programs across the academic medical center.

Anna Michelle earned a Master of Science in Health Administration and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
