What is a specialty pharmacy?

A specialty pharmacy supports people who take complex or high‑cost medicines for chronic or rare conditions. Specialty medications often require specific handling, administration and dosing instructions. Because these treatments are typically more complex and costly, close coordination between you, your physician and our pharmacy team is essential.

At our specialty pharmacy, we do more than fill prescriptions. We empower you with the resources, education and support needed to afford your medication, optimize your treatment and manage your condition effectively.

Specialty pharmacy services

Our specialty pharmacy care team goes beyond simply dispensing medications. In addition to helping you understand your prescriptions, including possible side effects, drug interactions and proper usage, we provide personalized support at every step.

Our services include:

  • Coordination of insurance and prior authorizations
  • Financial assistance navigation with alternative coverage options or financial aid programs
  • Refill reminders and adherence support
  • Regular communication with your healthcare providers
  • Medication list reviews to monitor drug interactions
  • Ongoing clinical follow‑up and therapy assessments
  • Courier delivery of specialty medications
