Mirmont Outpatient Center (formerly The Center for Addictive Diseases) provides drug and alcohol assessments and treatment services for persons 14 years and above with substance abuse problems as well as for family members or significant others affected by this illness. We believe addiction is an illness that can be treated with the support of professionals, self-help groups and the community of friends and family. Our programs are designed to help patients begin their recovery, stabilize and move forward with a solid foundation.

Treatment team

The treatment team includes

  • Licensed social workers
  • Master’s-level therapists
  • Certified addiction counselors
  • Medical director

Outpatient programs

Specialized outpatient programs in group format are offered for teens, men, women, parents, older adults, dual-diagnosis, DUI convictions (those arrested for driving under the influence), Suboxone®—medically assisted opiate treatment, relapse prevention and addictions related to chronic pain.

Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)

We offer afternoon and evening programs, Monday through Thursday. Individual therapy sessions are available depending on the patient's need. Once IOP is completed, the patient has the option to move into our outpatient program. We view treatment as a continuum; therefore, we encourage aftercare participation.

Programs include

  • Group therapy
  • Relapse prevention treatment
  • Aftercare planning
  • Stress management
  • Films, lectures and motivational programs
