Board-certified lactation consultants are available for home or office consults on a fee-for-service basis. Some insurers will even pay for a consult with an in-network IBCLC.
Nursing Mothers Alliance (NMA) Warmline and Mom’s Group

Mother-Baby Breastfeeding Connections and Mom’s Groups
They have groups at three sites: Phoenixville, Rosemont and West Philadelphia. Call for times and dates per location.
Breastfeeding Resource Centers
Located in King of Prussia (KOP) and Abington. KOP has a Mom’s Group that meets every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
La Leche League (LLL)
The breastfeeding community throughout the United States has access to a 24-hour helpline service by calling 1.877.4.LALECHE (452.5324). This helpline provides information, education and support for women who want to breastfeed, and to healthcare providers and others. For many local LLL meetings and support, call 610.666.0359.
Infant Risk Center
Call for any questions concerning medications and breastfeeding, phone line staffed by a physician, Monday through Friday, Central time. infantrisk.com has an online forum with additional information.

Main Line Health breastfeeding/pumping mothers’ groups
Venture out to a safe place and meet other moms!
For an opportunity to speak with other breastfeeding or pumping others, to share your experiences, and to check your baby’s weight, please join us at any of the following mothers’ groups. All groups have a baby scale. There is no charge for any of the groups and no reservations are necessary. Feel free to bring a beverage and a snack, babies and their siblings are welcome. Call 1.866.CALL.MLH (225.5654) for weather cancellations, information about dates, room locations or directions to the group meetings. Please note that the groups do not meet on holidays.
