Main Line Health appoints Terence French as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer
Main Line Health is pleased to announce that Terence French, MPP, will join the System as Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, effective Monday, January 5. Terence comes from Atlantic Health, a nationally recognized nonprofit health system in northern New Jersey, where he served as Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.
“Terence will help ensure our growth strategy reflects what the communities we serve need most. His leadership will guide work that strengthens access and supports our commitment to delivering advanced care that's close to home,” said Ed Jimenez, President and CEO of Main Line Health.
Terence is a seasoned leader with more than 30 years of experience in hospital and health system operations, strategic planning and public policy, including service in New Jersey state government. Throughout his career, Terence has led work that strengthens operations, improves access to care and supports sustainable organizational growth.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Terence will oversee the Strategy, Business Development, Communications and Marketing departments and will serve as the executive leader guiding the System's strategic direction. He will lead the planning and market strategy efforts that will advance Main Line Health's future growth and long-term sustainability.
At Atlantic Health, Terence guided the development and implementation of the organization's enterprise strategic plan, balancing investment with long-term financial expectations and advancing initiatives that strengthened the system's performance. He led efforts that expanded Atlantic Health's footprint, including negotiating the addition of hospitals, ambulatory sites and physician groups, and directing work that integrated those services into a unified network. Terence also oversaw data, reporting and analytics capabilities that improved forecasting, planning and supported growth in the number of patients served.
“Main Line Health is recognized for its commitment to delivering comprehensive, high-quality care close to home. I look forward to helping advance a thoughtful strategy that supports growth, strengthens patient access and ensures we continue to meet the needs of the communities we serve for years to come,” Terence said.
Before joining Atlantic Health, Terence served in leadership roles with Urban Health Institute, Catholic Health East, New Jersey Department of Health and New Jersey Office of the Governor.
Terence earned a Master of Public Policy from the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University and a bachelor's degree in political science from The College of New Jersey.
