Main Line Health is only Pa. health system in the large employer category

Great Place To Work® and Fortune magazine have selected Main Line Health for the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces in Health Care List. This is Main Line Health’s second time being named to this prestigious list, this year coming in at 44 out of 50 in the large category. Main Line Health is the only Pennsylvania health system in the large employer category. Earning a spot means that Main Line Health is one of the best companies to work for in the country.

The Best Workplaces in Health Care award is based on analysis of survey responses from nearly 228,000 employees at Great Place To Work Certified companies in the health care industry. The honor is the latest that Main Line Health has received for its high-quality workplace. It has been Certified by Great Place to Work four years in a row.

“The Great Place to Work certification and Best Workplaces in Health Care are based entirely on the results of our employee survey, so it is a reflection on how our colleagues feel about working at Main Line Health," said Pam Teufel, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Main Line Health. "With more than 80 percent of our colleagues sharing their feedback on the survey, our strong scores place us among the best healthcare systems in the country. It highlights the culture that makes the System a strong place to work and grow."

The Best Workplaces in Health Care list is highly competitive. Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, determines its lists using its proprietary Trust Index Survey to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations in America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study, based on over 1.3 million survey responses and data from companies representing more than 8.4 million employees.

Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.

“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces in Health Care,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “In every industry, our research shows that investing in people drives productivity and higher revenues. When trust levels are high in an organization, people don’t fear AI — they embrace it.”
