Main Line Health facilities

Main Line Health has been recognized with a 2024 CSO Award. CSO, a leading cybersecurity news organization, honors Main Line Health's commitment to cybersecurity excellence through its innovative approach to protecting patient data and critical infrastructure.

This prestigious honor is bestowed upon a select group of organizations that have implemented security projects and initiatives demonstrating outstanding business value and thought leadership. This year's award specifically recognizes the System’s success in adopting broad-based and clinically focused innovative approaches to patient care continuity during a cyberattack.

“In today’s evolving cybersecurity landscape, collaboration is key. I’m grateful for the dedication of every team member in keeping our organization’s data and systems secure. We’re constantly innovating and refining our strategies, and this award motivates us even further to stay ahead of cyber threats,” said Luke Olenoski, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Main Line Health.

Main Line Health's award-winning cybersecurity program is built on a foundation of several key elements, including:

  • A comprehensive cybersecurity strategy: This strategy aligns with industry best practices and continuously adapts to evolving threats.
  • Advanced security technologies: Main Line Health utilizes cutting-edge security tools and solutions to identify, prevent and mitigate cyberattacks.
  • Regular security awareness training: All staff members are required to undergo regular training on cybersecurity best practices to help them recognize and report potential threats.
  • Strong incident response capabilities: Main Line Health has a robust incident response plan in place to effectively respond to and recover from any security incidents.

"Cybersecurity threats are all too common in healthcare. We understand the critical importance of safeguarding patient data and ensuring the security of our systems. The CSO Award is a testament to our ongoing commitment to these efforts,” said Aaron Weismann, Chief Information Security Officer for Main Line Health.

Main Line Health will accept its award at the CSO Conference & Awards to be held October 21-23, 2024 at the We-Ko-Pa Resort & Casino in Fort McDowell, AZ.
