Population Health Research Day being held Oct. 16

The Main Line Health Center for Population Health Research at Lankenau Institute for Medical Research and Jefferson University’s College of Population Health are presenting a one-day seminar on Monday, October 16 at Lankenau Medical Center exploring the interconnectedness between health care and the communities we serve.
The morning will center on the use of data to better anticipate the types of patients coming to the emergency department and how best to care for them. There will also be discussions on the equity care continuum and patient-centered care, including achieving equity in health care, assessing community needs and creating community collaborations. Roundtable sessions are scheduled for the afternoon to create population health research initiatives that promote better health and health care access by asking and answering important questions.
