The total represents an increase of 61 physicians from the 2022 Top Doctors list. Philadelphia Magazine publishes its list to help people find the best health care in the region.
"We are thrilled to have such a higher number of doctors selected to Philadelphia Magazine’s list of the region’s best,” said Jonathan Stallkamp, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Main Line Health. “We take pride in the excellence of our entire team of more than 2,000 physicians across Main Line Health, who are dedicated to providing our patients and community with safe, high-quality and equitable care. This recognition reinforces the superior patient experience our physicians provide. Our patients continue to choose Main Line Health for their health and wellness needs as a trusted care partner throughout their lives, not just at acute or critical moments.”
Philadelphia Magazine partners with Castle Connolly, an independent health care research firm, to compile the Top Doctors list. Physicians throughout the region are selected from specialties ranging from cardiology and dermatology to orthopaedics and family medicine. Overall, the magazine named 2,821 doctors to its list.
