Bryn Mawr Hospital and Paoli Hospital Recognized by Newsweek as Best Maternity Hospitals 2022

Bryn Mawr Hospital

Bryn Mawr, PA — Bryn Mawr Hospital and Paoli Hospital, part of Main Line Health, have recently been recognized as a Best Maternity Hospital 2022 by Newsweek. For the third consecutive year, Bryn Mawr Hospital has once again received this recognition that demonstrates its commitment to the highest quality of maternity care. With this recent achievement, both hospitals continue to distinguish themselves as regional leaders in the maternity field.

Presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., a statistics portal and industry ranking provider, the 350 Best Maternity Hospital list highlights recipients who provide excellence in maternity services. To determine the validity and quality of each hospital ranking, Newsweek and Statista rely on a comprehensive methodology that supports the data based on the following:

  • Nationwide online survey: hospital managers and health care professionals with knowledge about maternity processes e.g. Midwives, neonatal and OB/GYNs were asked to recommend leading maternity hospitals in the US
  • Medical KPIs on hospitals with a focus on indicators relevant to maternity care
  • Results from patient surveys

“Congratulations to the maternity teams at Bryn Mawr Hospital and Paoli Hospital in receiving this distinguished recognition. I am incredibly proud of the outstanding care they provide to our maternity patients and their families, particularly during these challenging times. This recognition reflects our TEAM’s commitment to the health, safety and well-being of every community member they see,” says Jack Lynch, III, FACHE, President and Chief Executive Officer, Main Line Health.
