Main Line Health Physicians named Top Doctors in Philadelphia Magazine’s New 2022 List

Philadelphia Magazine Top Docs 2022

The Annual Issue Spotlights Main Line Health Experts – Chosen by their Peers – Across 42 Medical and Surgical Specialties

Selected by their physician peers throughout the region, 360 outstanding Main Line Health physicians are recognized in Philadelphia Magazine's May 2022 Top Doctors issue.

The annual physician list is based on results from the annual Top Doctors survey conducted by Castle Connolly; an independent medical research company helping patients and consumers connect with providers.

"Each of our physicians selected in Philadelphia Magazine's 2022 Top Doctors are extremely well-deserving of this recognition," said Jonathan Stallkamp, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Main Line Health. "We are incredibly proud of our entire team of more than 2,000 physicians across our health system who are dedicated to providing our patients and the community with the highest quality of care. Despite the challenges of the pandemic these past two years, our doctors continue to provide a superior patient experience that embodies what makes Main Line Health doctors leaders in patient care.”

Physicians listed range in specialty from primary care to orthopedics, oncology, neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery and more.

“It is always appreciated and valued when our peers and referring colleagues name Main Line Health physicians as the Top Doctors they would choose for their own care. We take the relationship with our patients very seriously and who we refer them to matters. That vote of confidence by our fellow physicians only strengthens our patients' trust in us in delivering the best continuum of care,” said, Rick Mankin MD, president, Main Line HealthCare; the employed, multispecialty physician network of Main Line Health.

One of the additional featured articles in the May issue is about telemedicine. The past two years have been dominated by the pandemic and its global effect on health systems. This year, the May issue focuses on the rapid acceleration of the telehealth revolution that changed the face of how patients receive care due to COVID-19. The story explores the trends of telemedicine, the new model of dispensing care and how patients can get the most value from of a telehealth visit. Main Line Health has recently added On Demand Urgent care telemedicine visits for patients' greater convenience as well.
