Main Line Health earns 2021 CHIME Digital Health Most Wired recognition

Main Line Health has earned the 2021 CHIME Digital Health Most Wired recognition as a certified level 8 for both acute and ambulatory, for the 11th consecutive year. The CHIME Digital Health Most Wired program conducts an annual survey to assess how effectively healthcare organizations apply core and advanced technologies into their clinical and business programs to improve health and care in their communities. Main Line Health continues to exemplify their responsibility and dedication to advance patient care through technology and digital enhancements.
"I am incredibly proud of our team for their commitment to improve our hospital system through using the most innovative uses of technology to improve patient safety and health outcomes across the system" explained Luke Olenoski, Chief Information Officer, Main Line Health. "As healthcare continues to revolutionize, Main Line Health is dedicated to evaluating the details, strengths and gaps to strive for continued advancement and improvement in the coming years."
As a Most Wired health system, Main Line Health has integrated technology in every facet of the health care delivery system, including the implementation of a custom-built operational COVID dashboard that allowed for an "at a glance" view to assist in decision making throughout the pandemic's evolution, employment of MyChart to schedule for COVID-19 vaccinations, and increased telehealth offerings for patients and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through these initiatives, MLH is working to transform the way care is delivered across the health system.
"Digital transformation in healthcare has accelerated to an unprecedented level since 2020, and the next few years will bring a wave of innovation that empowers healthcare consumers and will astound the industry," said CHIME President and CEO Russell P. Branzell. "The Digital Health Most Wired program recognizes the outstanding digital leaders who have paved the way for this imminent revolution in healthcare. Their trailblazing commitment to rapid transformation has set an example for the entire industry in how to pursue a leadership vision with determination, brilliant planning and courage to overcome all challenges."
