About
Travis M. Mattingly, DO
Dr. Mattingly got involved with HIV/Hepatitis C testing and treatment after completing undergrad at Swarthmore College. During medical school at University of New England and residency at Jefferson Northeast, an interest in HIV served as a gateway to learning more about mycobacterial diseases, opportunistic infections, social determinants of health, and risk reduction strategies. Fellowship at Tulane University underlined the strengths of patient-centered care while facing complex pathology and high acuity. He is proud of a quality improvement project addressing blood culture contamination and working with the response to the 2022 mpox outbreak. Dr. Mattingly is particularly interested in HIV, TB and COVID.
