Dr. Staid received her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and her Doctorate of Medicine from SUNY-Health Science Center-College of Medicine in Syracuse, New York. She then completed her internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at The Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Massachusetts. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. She became a Diplomat of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine in 2013. Dr. Staid has been practicing Internal Medicine/Integrative Functional Medicine for over 17 years, so patients should expect to find a partner in optimizing their health. She specializes in preventive medicine and chronic disease management with a mind-body-spirit approach to the patient, while blending traditional and complementary medicine to optimize a patient's care. She has special interests in treating the underlying disease process/inflammation by using her strong fund of knowledge in nutrition, gut imbalances, hormonal disorders, metabolic disorders, and stress management. This approach should help to systematically restore the patient's own innate balance. Dr. Staid was named by Main Line Magazine as a Top Doctor in 2007 and in 2013. Dr. Staid lives in Malvern with her husband and 2 children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, healthy cooking, and traveling.
