As a strong believer in community partnerships, Leslie has served on numerous task forces and advisory boards that collaborate with hospital systems, school districts, shelters and other organizations to identify unmet needs and collectively solve problems. She has developed and implemented programs to support individuals who needed specialized care; including a Crisis Residential Program that serves pregnant women and individuals with intellectual disabilities, and a teen help line for at-risk youth. Leslie has been invited to speak on a multitude of behavioral health and wellness topics at annual county conferences, community events, local law enforcement trainings as well as faith based organizational meetings. Leslie received her undergraduate degree in sociology for the College of Wooster. She holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Social Policy and Practice.
