I am a general surgeon with advanced training in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. I specialize in surgical repair of all types of hernias as well as operations to rebuild the abdominal wall. These operations can be quite complex but are important for people who suffer from recurrent hernias. In addition to hernia repair and abdominal surgeries, I also treat disorders of the upper gastrointestinal tract and colon. As a surgeon, I want to make sure that my patients benefit from the most advanced and least invasive surgical options that are appropriate for them. This was my major motivation in developing expertise in minimally invasive and robotic approaches to common surgical procedures, such as hernia repair and abdominal reconstruction. These advancements can offer patients surgical treatment with less pain and scarring, fewer complications, and faster return to normal daily activities.
