Elissa Cashman Dalton, MD

Dr. Dalton is a surgeon with advanced training in surgical treatment of breast disease in women and men. She specializes in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all types of breast cancer but also is trained to recognize and treat noncancerous conditions of the breast. A member of the breast cancer team at Riddle Hospital, Dr. Dalton supports patients at risk for or newly diagnosed with breast cancer throughout the process of their care, with a focus on tailoring any surgery they may need. She has a special interest in helping patients understand their risk for breast cancer, counseling high-risk patients about screening and prevention options, and managing patients with genetic mutations for breast and related cancers.
