Daniel Y. Jo, DO
Dr. Jo is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive surgery. He treats many conditions that may require scheduled or emergency surgery, including abdominal hernias, groin hernias, hiatal hernias, gastrointestinal reflux disease (GERD), diverticulitis, gallstones, appendicitis, stomach ulcers, and gastrointestinal bleeding. Dr. Jo is trained in advanced laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic surgical techniques, and he opts for one of these minimally invasive approaches whenever possible and appropriate for a patient. Endoscopic surgery is performed using tiny instruments that are attached to a thin lighted tube (endoscope) that is inserted into the mouth and guided to the gastrointestinal tract.
